FREE HIP HOP DANCE CLASSES

Always wished you could do a headspin? Haven’t tried popping since the 80’s?

These free classes are a part of the lead up to CarriageWorks' Platform 3 Hip Hop Festival.

The classes are for everyone; kids, teens, adults, beginners and super-coordinated movers – it’s about breaking it down and giving hip hop dance a go in a fun and casual environment.

Don't worry if you have no experience, come along and you are sure to have a great time and learn some moves (or at least learn some terminology!) that you'll be able to use at Platform 3 Hip Hop Festival on 19 and 20 March.

What do I wear?
Wear something comfortable and loose-fitting, or like what you would wear to do exercise. Shoes are a must, best to wear trainers/sneakers.

Can I bring my children?
Yes, but children MUST be supervised by an adult at all times throughout the class. Supervising adults do not have to take part, but they cannot leave unsupervised children in the class.
