HERE AND NOW

In 2013 Carriageworks presents HERE AND NOW a series of four projects curated by Liane Rossler. HERE AND NOW offers new commissions and limited edition works by Australian artists and designers which are only available at Carriageworks. The spirit of HERE AND NOW is artist-driven and experimental. Each of the four projects is organized around one concept and will be shown in a custom-made space. With a completely new look every three months the concepts for 2013 are USEFUL, TOTES, LUCKY and STAR.

The concept for TOTES is simple, totally great bags designed or made by totally great artists.Carriageworks has commissioned these limited edition tote bags from Australia’s most exciting artists and designers including Pip & Pop, Louise Tuckwell, Eager & Vane, Amanda Picman, Sian McIntyre, Rittenhouse and Province. The works presented here are available for purchase exclusively from Carriageworks - 8 April - 7 July 2013.
