Performance Space

Performance Space is an international contemporary arts centre producing and presenting contemporary arts that explore the intersections between performance, visual cultures, new media and sound. They create space for artists and audiences from across the street and around the world to come face to face in live encounters, intimate exchange and interactive events.

The Performance Space residency program supports artists in the research and development stages of creating new work. Artist's talks and forums are hosted regularly, as well as a curated program of performance, live art, installation and new media events.

Performance Space is a hub for artists and audiences committed to imagining new possibilities for groundbreaking work and testing the limits of performance. Throughout the year, the works are presented in four seasons across several spaces at CarriageWorks.
