PlayWriting Australia

PlayWriting Australia works with Australian theatre artists to create and tell Australian stories. From grassroots outreach to major national festivals, PlayWriting Australia's broad programme of activities encourages home-grown theatre to flourish.

As the national peak body for playwriting, their mission is to support the development and promotion of great new Australian writing for performance. PWA work with emerging and established Australian playwrights and the companies who produce their work to ensure that our local artists have the opportunity to develop their skills and see their work become part of Australia's national repertoire.
