MIKE PARR | FREE EXHIBITION ANNA SCHWARTZ GALLERY Anna Schwartz Gallery opens with MILK, coinciding with the launch of MIKE PARR PERFORMANCES 1971 - 2008. Published by Schwartz City, the 900-page volume presents a survey of Parr's key performance works from the last 37 years with an in-depth view via documentary photographs. MILK references these performances, complementing the publication with large-scale photographs. The exhibition is drawn from the publication itself, as well as including additional images. MILK is the first exhibition to offer a focused investigation of Parr's ongoing performance projects and attests to the significance of Parr's extensive practice.
